All Non-Fort Peck Tribal members fishing within the boundaries of the reservation must possess a tribal fishing license. Fishing is open year round from February 28 to March 1, to include open water and ice fishing.
1. No person(s) shall lay, set, or use any drug, poison, medicated bait, explosives, or other letch, or injurious substance for the purpose of catching, taking, killing, or destroying any fish.
2. No person(s) shall lay, set, or use gill net, or any hoop nets for the purpose of catching, taking, killing, or destroying any fish.
3. No person(s) shall knowingly aid or assist in the concealment of any fish that have been unlawfully taken or possessed.
4. No person(s) shall set minnows or similar bait traps unless these traps are marked and labeled with your Tribal Conservation License Number.
5. A maximum of six (6) set lines and six (6) hooks per line is allowed for fishing open waters. A maximum of six (6) lines is allowed for fishing through ice. No person may possess more than one days limit of fish while on the water, or actively engaged in fishing. Jugs and set lines have to be labeled with your Tribal Conservation License Number visible within ten (10) yards of where they are set. Jugs will be limited to thirty (30) hooks.
Or a combination of twenty (20) of all species per day.
These Limits cannot be exceeded, even if the angler possesses both a state and tribal fishing license, and fishes on and/or off the reservation the same day.
1. A paddlefish stamp must be purchased along with the Tribal General Fishing Stamp.
2. Limit of one (1) per year.
3. Limited Season: May 15 to June 15.
4. Catch and release is permitted.
5. Tag must be attached to the paddlefish between the back and the dorsal fin.
6. Each paddlefish angler must cast for and hook his or her own paddlefish. Any tag which has been altered or modified shall be void.
