The Turtle Mound Buffalo Ranch is located twenty five miles northeast of Poplar, Montana. The buffalo herd was reintroduced to our area in 1999. Currently, there are 200 head in the buffalo herd.
Buffalo Hunt Prices
Bulls (Males):
2 & 3 year old bulls (weighs 600-800 lbs) Live Weight = $2000 each. Available through lottery only.
4 years and up (weighs 1500-2200 lbs) Live Weight. Currently have 5 – 5 yr. olds = $3,500 each. Available through lottery only.
Trophy bulls for mounting (good for burger and mounting ) $5,000 minimum price. Available through online auction.
